Graded Sports Horse Breeding (GB) Polling’s father Pilot is one of the best Sires of showjumpers. Many of his offspring are of international quality and even Olympic participants (Bugatti, Pedro, Pirol, Priamos, Panama, Prinzregent, Parodue and many more).

Polling’s Mother Mutige
herself a showjumper up to 1.30m and a three day eventer, her father was The Trakener Stallion Mahdi full brother to Flaneur and Founder member of a very successful Trakener Stallion Line. In the third generation, there is the Hanoverian Lugano well known for passing on rideabillity.

Out of the same motherline is also the Oldenburg Champion from the 1996 approval Landatio who is now a grandprix dressage horse.

Polling himself was champion at his approval in Bavaria and placed second in the 100 day test.

Polling has already produced a winner of this stallion test with his son “Piz Buin”. In 2002, there were five horses of his not very numerous offspring jumping at ‘S’ Level (1.40m).

Polling retired from a successful international showjumping career in September 2003.
